| Guess where I just came back from. I went to PASO ROBLES!!! Cruisin' up the freeway for 5 hours from LA, horrible jetlag, hot, sun shining, felt pretty miserable, but the show was Grrrreat. |  |

| Being very frank, the Kustom Style was much better than the actual Rods themselves. I was hoping to see some Rods like mine, but didn't. There were really cool lookin' Rods though, such as Tom's '32 Ford Roadster, and Johnny's (Deacons) Roadster Pickup, etc. |  |

| What shocked me the most was how the Kustom level (if there was such a way to classify "levels") over here was much higher than back home; Especially the gold and black Lincoln Zephyer. Check out these front skirts, and the owner tells me he drives with these on! That wasn't the only Rod that I liked, there were lots more Rods with parts I've never seen before.On the 2nd day at night, the Shifters held a party at a nearby bowling alley. We went down around dusk, and the parking lot was already packed with cars making it almost like a mini car show. |  |

| Swimming through the
crowds, I finally get inside, and was greeted by Kevin, a Shifter, and hastily
was taken over to this drunken guy. Kevin told me that he's the original
Kid Rocker from England, and took a photo with him. "I'm the REAL Kid Rocker,"
I thought. This year's Paso was my first and I definitely want to come back again next year. Well, I guess I'll see you in Paso Robles next year! (by Kid Rocker)
